Unbranded in-app surveys for React Native, but Apptentive, Firebase surveys, and Fullstory already do this.

Strengths
  • 5-minute SDK integration with zero manual UI wiring — the provider.tsx pattern is genuinely lightweight and low-friction for indie devs.
  • Deploy surveys remotely without shipping app updates, eliminating the traditional friction of survey tooling for mobile.
  • Free tier without branding targets the indie developer price-sensitivity gap that premium tools ignore.
Weaknesses
  • Feature set is intentionally minimal (basic rating/text questions, no logic or targeting), limiting appeal to teams needing advanced survey capabilities.
  • Only React Native and Expo support at launch; iOS/Android native SDKs are listed as future roadmap items, not available now.
Target Audience

Indie and growth-stage mobile app developers who need user feedback loops without paying premium survey SaaS fees.

Post Description

Hi HN, I built Reflekt after struggling to find a simple way to add in-app surveys to my mobile apps without paying a lot or adding someone else’s branding to the UI.

Reflekt lets you integrate once in React Native or Expo and then launch surveys remotely without shipping app updates. The goal is simple, native-feeling surveys and a lightweight setup that indie developers can actually afford, including a free tier without branding.

It’s still early, and I’d really appreciate feedback from anyone building mobile apps.

I'll be happy to increase your limits in return for any feedback.

Thanks for checking it out!
