No-server audiogram maker beats remove.bg—but Descript and Audacity already converge here.

Strengths
  • Single-file HTML implementation runs entirely in-browser with zero data transmission.
  • Whisper JSON support for precise caption timing beats generic auto-timing solutions.
  • Clean, intuitive UI: drag-and-drop audio, real-time preview, fast export.
Weaknesses
  • Audiogram category is crowded (Descript, Audacity, free Wistia)—no novel technical differentiation.
  • Author concedes 'janky'—likely rough edges on edge cases and format support.

Post Description

I am working on some bigger projects and wanted to start sharing them on LinkedIn and YouTube. The problem is you can't just post audio on LinkedIn, it needs to be a video. Every tool I found for this wanted a signup or a subscription, and none of the demos looked how I wanted anyway.

So I just built one with Claude. It runs in the browser, nothing gets uploaded anywhere. It is a single HTML file. A bit janky but it does what I need.

If you are on the job market or building something new and want to share your voice without being on camera, maybe it helps you like it helps me. If you think something could be improved, reach out.

SkillForge – Turn Screen Recordings into Agent-Ready Skills

SkillForge turns the old 'show, don't tell' trick into code: record a task, and their AI teases clicks, keystrokes and navigation out of pixels into a stepwise skill file you can edit and export. The ability to trim video, rewrite steps via AI, and output a SKILL.md for agent frameworks is a practical, opinionated workflow that could shortcut lots of brittle RPA scripting — my main questions are reliability across dynamic UIs and privacy/recording controls, but the product direction is smart and tangible.
