Post Description

Hi HN,

A friend and I built a tool that tracks the number of open jobs on public companies’ career pages over time.

The idea was simple: hiring changes might hint at internal shifts before they fully show up in earnings or headlines. So we started collecting the job counts and visualizing them against stock price and market cap.

You can explore it here: https://jobstocks.ai

It’s still very early, and we’re mainly trying to learn whether this data is actually useful for traders or analysts.

Would love honest feedback on:

whether the signal is interesting at all what’s missing from the dashboard what would make this genuinely useful

Appreciate any thoughts.
