Undated tasks work for households, but Tody and Cozi already own this space.

Strengths
  • Undated task list approach matches how household chores actually work without hard deadlines
  • Single $2.50/month pricing covers up to 5 family members with no per-user fees
  • Activity log tracks who created, edited, or completed each task for accountability
Weaknesses
  • Family organization category is well-served by Tody, Cozi, and OurHome already
  • No technical differentiation beyond standard CRUD app architecture

Post Description

My wife and I used to manage household tasks on paper sheets. We would do a big brain dump, then over time the list would get messy: tasks moved to another month, some were forgotten, and eventually we had to start over on a new sheet.

The main problem was that most of our tasks did not really have due dates. Once everything was mixed together, the list became hard to scan and easy to ignore.

So I built Puranno for us: a shared task planner where undated tasks live in one clean list, and you only drag something onto a specific day when it actually needs a date. You can also assign tasks to each other so it is clear who is responsible for what.

It is meant to be simpler to scan and more usable than paper for day-to-day home planning.

Would love feedback.
