I built Council Tax Challenger in the UK, you enter your postcode and it compares your property's council tax band against similar nearby properties using live VOA data.

I kept reading that millions of UK homes are in the wrong band but challenging it felt opaque and intimidating. The VOA process exists but nobody explains it clearly, and most people just give up.

The tool starts with official VOA council-tax-band data, classifies EPC/OS Places/Land Registry inputs as enrichment, compares the property against neighbours on the 1991 valuation basis, and—where discrepancies are found—generates a ready-to-submit PDF pack (comparison report plus draft letter to the VOA).
