MidShip It

Useful CLI utility, but du and ncdu already show cache sizes fine.

Strengths
  • Rust implementation delivers fast performance for disk scanning operations.
  • Available on crates.io and AUR with straightforward installation paths.
Weaknesses
  • Configuration section is placeholder—core feature not yet implemented.
  • Author hasn't tested on Windows or macOS despite claiming cross-platform support.
Target Audience

Developers and sysadmins managing disk space on local machines

Post Description

This is my first post on Show HN :). I wanted to check the sizes of the cache files on my computer using terminal. However, I couldn’t find a tool that did this. So I made one myself. I haven’t tested it on Windows and macOS because I don’t use those operating systems. If you encounter any issues, please open an issue.
