Omens AI filters my feeds so I spend 0 minutes doomscrolling

i built omens because i was spending 4-5 hours a day doomscrolling; now i spend basically 0 minutes doing that, as ai filters my feeds down to what actually matters to me

- omens connects to x, reddit, telegram, and rss - it's byo ai api key, scores posts for relevance, shows a filtered feed, and generates reports - you can upvote/downvote each post to "nudge" ai to show you some stuff more and some stuff less - i personally use kimi k2.5 turbo with firepass (because i already pay for it anyway) and it's chef's kiss - it fetches all feeds every 15 minutes for me, and generates the newspaper-like reports every day at 7am to surface only what matters - i've missed precisely 0 big news since i started using omens full time 2 weeks ago (yes, including daily anthropic tweets lol) - free, completely open source, i made it fully self-hostable - no need to sign up, you can see my feed (filtered/raw) and reports at omens.online - supports multiple feeds with different ai prompts

since i shared it with a few friends, they sent me cool feedback like the need for tg channels and rss, the need for email for reports, light theme (i do have perverts in my social circle, yes) etc; i added all these features in

i'd love to see whether filtering is useful for people other than me; and if so, happy to build whatever stuff you guys need

it's a project that i've built for myself (man i'm saving like 5 hours a day and my mental health skyrockets because i don't spend so much time scrolling through like 80% of the bs that algos are sending to me, like literally, 80% of stuff is getting filtered out); so it's already done the best it could and now it's just seeing if you guys here like it
