I made a Tamagotchi app that lets you add your IRL pet
Upload your real pet as a Tamagotchi that reacts to your health data — cute but shallow.

Dynamic Island Tamagotchi that lets you upload photos of your actual pets.

I am a student dev, shipping fun stuff in my free time.
This month, I wasn’t sure what to pick up next, but the answer kind of slapped me in the face.
My gf got a new iPhone with a dynamic island. One of the first apps she installed was some sort of game.
Me: “What’s that?”
She: “It’s a Tamagotchi for the dynamic island. Look, it moves!”
Me: “A moving what?!”
After looking deeper into it, the idea was pretty cool, but everything was behind a paywall. And… "no cat variety".
So here it is - Boko, a pet that’s always with you as a live activity. But instead of random pets, you can upload your IRL pet and have it there.
Play with it, feed it, and keep an eye on your daily movement and sleep, since that affects your pet! Let it meet your friends’ pets, and make sure it doesn’t run away if you neglect it.
Search "Boko Pet" in the App Store (sorry Android!)
Enjoy! P.S. Works without the dynamic island, too!

Treating motion-blurred snapshots as 'structural seeds' is a neat, focused idea — rather than forcing users to supply perfect photos, the system accepts messy inputs and builds motion, depth-of-field, and even lip-synced mouths on top. The site clearly productizes the tech with templates, a voices library, and a gallery, but the concept sits in a crowded space (avatar/video generators exist) so the real win will be how reliable the temporal consistency and style fidelity are at scale.
