Finally fixes GitHub access for IPv6-only servers without needing a custom NAT64 gateway.

Strengths
  • Transparent relay preserves GitHub's host keys, allowing users to verify no MITM attack.
  • Solves a specific, painful infrastructure gap for modern cloud-native IPv6 deployments.
Weaknesses
  • Single point of failure; reliance on a third-party proxy for critical git operations is risky.
  • No SLA or uptime guarantee mentioned, making it unsuitable for production CI/CD pipelines.
Target Audience

Post Description

Since everyone always complains about IPv6-only servers not being able to reach GitHub, I decided to fix that. And I did fix that. You can use this simple service I made to access GitHub through IPv6, and you don't need to have IPv4 on every server or set up your own proxy server.
