AI Analysis

MidCozy

Yet another keep-awake app when Amphetamine and Caffeine already exist.

Strengths
  • Native Swift app, signed and notarized by Apple with no telemetry or DRM.
  • Smart lid detection only engages clamshell-awake when lid is actually closed.
  • Timed sessions and crash-safe restoration if the app fails unexpectedly.
Weaknesses
  • Lid-closed wake support already exists in free tools like Amphetamine and InsomniaX.
  • Paid utility ($4) competing against established free alternatives with same core feature.

Post Description

Hey I am Ben

I've mostly moved to a remote agent solution but I do still run agents on my device sometimes. Wake up apps generally work great but I wanted to make my own and have it work when the lid is closed.

It's $4 AUD and its yours to own. No catches. No DRM. Just an app that works and I will endeavour to keep up to date.

I appreciate you taking a look and I hope its useful to you.

Gait – because "what did the AI agent do?" shouldn't require guesswork

Turns every agent run into a verifiable artifact you can inspect offline, replay deterministically, and promote into a CI gate with one command. The combo of signed packs (Ed25519 + SHA-256), structural pack diffs, and a 'regress bootstrap' that produces JUnit fixtures is a pragmatic approach to taming tool-call side effects without replacing your agents. The repo ships demos, docs, and install scripts so this feels like a usable infra tool rather than a paper design.
