AI Analysis

MidShip ItBold Bet

AI E2E testing when Playwright, Cypress, and Testim already dominate.

Strengths
  • Docker-first deployment means zero local browser setup or dependencies.
  • JSON test definitions describe user journeys in natural language.
Weaknesses
  • AI testing tools (Testim, Mabl, Functionize) already solve this at scale.
  • One commit and one star — extremely early stage with unproven reliability.

Post Description

Did you vibe-code 5k+ lines of code without thoroughly reviewing all of them? Is your application held together mostly by thoughts, prayers, and a suspicious amount of copium ? Do you run through your entire development page after every agent commit just to check that nothing randomly broke? If yes, I built something for you. Introducing riddlerun: an open-source agentic end-to-end web testing framework that can be run directly from the terminal. All you need is Docker, an API key, and the ability to describe in a coherent sentence how your application is supposed to behave. I’d be especially grateful for feedback, issue reports, and proposals for the future direction of the project.

AgenQA – Turn natural language into E2E web app tests using AI

Natural-language -> E2E tests plus a visual desktop app, cloud sync and an npm-installable CLI is a pragmatic combo that will appeal to teams tired of brittle scripts. Usability-focused reporting and a recorder-ish desktop experience are the clearest differentiators here; what I want to see next is concrete evidence about cross-browser reliability and how the AI handles flakiness and changing selectors.
