The Take

Dual-mode AI (ingredients→recipes and dish→ingredient list) is practical and the minimalist UI looks built for use while cooking — big plus for one-handed interactions. It's a useful, focused tool, but the core differentiator is model quality and hallucination control (not shown here); grocery delivery integration could be the feature that moves this from handy to essential.

Post Description

I built this web-app to solve my own food waste problem. It uses a dual-mode AI engine: you can either input what's in your fridge to get a recipe, or search for a dish to get the ingredient list. I focused on making the UI as simple as possible so it’s actually usable while cooking. It supports multiple languages and I'm currently working on integrating grocery delivery APIs to automate the shopping part. I am curious to hear your thoughts on the recipe accuracy and the UI flow
