I built ReportBurster out of frustration with current BI stacks.

Most tools live in two separate worlds:

- Beautiful dashboards and analytics tools — great for charts, weak for reporting, and many push you towards their SaaS. - Powerful report generators — pixel-perfect PDFs, but no real analytics or exploration.

Stitching 4–5 tools together with scripts, glue code, and workarounds became the norm.

Plus, most modern tools are SaaS-first. If you want serious reporting, automation, portals, or embedding — self-hosted and open-source — options shrink fast.

ReportBurster aims to handle the entire data-to-delivery pipeline in one platform, powered by the *AI Crew* — your council of AI oracles that learn your projects, preferences, and workflows:
