Real-time kanban for Claude Code conversations; reads local files, zero backend or setup.

Strengths
  • Zero configuration or accounts; reads existing agent session files that are already produced
  • Real-time sync via file watchers and smart auto-categorization (status, category, git branch, error state)
  • MIT open source with multi-language support and extensible agent integration
Weaknesses
  • Audience is narrow: only useful if you're already heavy Claude Code/Codex user and losing track of conversations
  • Depends on session file format stability; breaking changes in Claude Code could break the extension
Target Audience

Post Description

I've been using Claude Code and Codex daily and kept losing track of which conversation was doing what across projects. So I built Claudine — a VS Code extension that reads your agent session files and renders them as a live kanban board. It auto-detects status, category, git branch, and error state. Everything syncs in real time, is searchable and drag-and-droppable. Cmd+Shift+K to open. No config, no backend, no accounts. It just reads the local session files your agents already produce. Open source, MIT licensed. Would love feedback — especially on what other agents you'd want supported.
