AI Analysis

MidSolve My ProblemSlick

Branded news curation for associations, but competing against NewsGuard, Flipboard B2B, and internal editorial tools.

Strengths
  • Multi-tenant isolation with per-org curation config means a legal society and medical board can have completely different relevance rules—real product thinking.
  • Removes genuine 10-15hr/week manual curation workload; solves a specific pain point with data to back it.
  • End-to-end flow: source discovery → relevance scoring → branded portal + email digests is genuinely complete.
Weaknesses
  • AI-powered news curation is increasingly crowded (Perplexity for Teams, Feedly Pro, custom internal ChatGPT instances); no technical differentiation claimed.
  • Currently RSS/web scraping only; no direct API integrations with major news vendors yet—limits accuracy and coverage versus proprietary newswire access.

Post Description

AICurate lets professional associations create AI-curated news hubs for their members.

Problem: Associations spend 10-15 hrs/week manually finding, filtering, and summarizing industry news for members.

Solution: Configure industries, topics, and RSS/web sources. AI agent scans, scores relevance, generates summaries, and delivers via branded portal + email digests.

Multi-tenant architecture, each org gets isolated config, branding, and analytics. Curation AI is configurable per-tenant so a legal association and a medical society can have completely different relevance criteria.

Currently handles RSS feeds and web source discovery. Working on adding direct API integrations with major news providers.
