Post Description

Last year, I picked up hand drumming on the darbuka as a new hobby, and I've been having tons of fun.

I found that it was a bit hard to find tools and resources on how to play the darbuka, so I made an app where you can input rhythms and play them back with real drum sounds (recordings provided courtesy of my drum teacher!!) and directly coded in support for things like common Middle Eastern rhythms.

I've been using this app a lot for my own drumming practice, and I wanted to share it in case others found it helpful or interesting.
