Digital tally marks beat typing numbers for rapid counting when you need visual verification.

Strengths
  • Tap to add, long-press to subtract mimics physical tallying without undo friction.
  • Handwritten font style creates a low-fidelity, low-pressure counting experience.
  • Available on both iOS and Android with no signup or account required.
Weaknesses
  • Limited utility for high-volume counting where digits are more space-efficient.
  • Niche use case competes with built-in phone counters and notes apps.

Post Description

My go to for quickly keeping a count was a note on my phone, but I found it a bit cumbersome to edit a number again and again.

So I quickly built this app, it does what it says on the tin and keeps the feel of tally marks on paper.

I hope someone else will find some use in it too :)
