Post Description

I ran a software agency for about ten years. Every client used a different task manager, which doesn't sound like a problem until it's your whole life. I spent more time digging through those things trying to figure out what we'd done than actually doing anything. So I built Rinkta to get that time back. Seemed smarter than continuing to lose my mind.

What it does is, it takes all your tasks out of Asana, Linear, ClickUp, GitHub, Basecamp, whatever you got, figures out how long each one took, puts the right rate on it, and lands the whole thing in one dashboard. That's the program. Not much to look at, but it works, which is more than I can say for most things.

Now, a lot of these people on HN build a little program and get up saying it changed the world, all that. But in reality they built it and walked away like a fella who buys a boat. Not me. Somebody says "it's Rinkta or you live as a hobo," I'm a hobo now, simple as that, got the little bindle and everything. Anyway, I'd love to hear what you think, and if you hate it , say so.
