MCP server for agent commerce when x402 and Stripe already exist.

Strengths
  • Leverages Google UCP for standardized product catalog ingestion across merchants.
  • Human-in-the-loop checkout flow prevents agents from spending money autonomously.
  • Store URL scanning allows merchants to sync catalogs without complex API integrations.
Weaknesses
  • Payments are currently manual links; autonomous USDC settlement is only 'coming soon'.
  • Relies entirely on merchant adoption of the specific Google UCP standard.

Post Description

I kept hearing about how e-commerce was dead and how a lot of brick-and-mortar stores and sellers will go out of business soon because of AI. I am a product manager and studied machine learning while in school. The last thing I want is for engineers to be losing their jobs 'because of AI', and also for small businesses barely getting by to see the same fate. AI is amazing tech hopefully kifly helps people use their AI assistants find things they need.

This is early and I would love your feedback.

1. You can discover and checkout within the demo widget (scopped to one seller) on the homepage

2. Connect to the MCP to experience the full Network wide capability

First live UCP demo – see how AI agents shop your WooCommerce store

The site sells a practical shortcut: turn a WooCommerce catalog into a live API designed for AI agents and AEO-aware search. The landing page highlights fast integration, an 'API online' badge and SEO/agent-oriented features, which is a useful developer handoff — but the idea reads like an iteration on product feeds and headless commerce rather than something truly new. I want concrete demos of agent workflows, webhook/transaction guarantees, and docs before I’d bet on it for production.

Developer Tools●●Solid

Open-source MCP server that lets AI assistants shop via Google's UCP

Exposes the entire UCP shopping flow as discrete MCP tools (ucp_discover, checkout create/update/fulfillment/complete), which is smart because agents need typed, deterministic primitives not brittle browser hacks. It’s practical — pip installable with a CLI entrypoint and basic tests — so you can prototype agent-driven purchases fast. What would push it higher: richer merchant adapter examples, more end-to-end payment/edge-case docs, and clearer security/payment handling guidance.
