WebGPU hard-surface modeling in browser when Spline focuses on design, not engineering.
3D artists and designers who need portable modeling tools

I’m building Roughform, a browser-based 3D modeling app focused on familiar hard-surface modeling workflows. I'm a huge fan of Blender, but I often want to work on a scene when I'm away from my laptop or desktop.
It includes edit mode modeling, object layout, nondestructive surface booleans, OBJ export, and touch-friendly controls. It all runs in the browser (webGPU).
There are still bugs, and I’m actively working through them. I may add a Pro version later for things like cloud sync, but everything that is free today will remain free.
I’d love feedback if you try it. There’s a feedback system built into the app.
Thanks, Ben

Native Blender integration via MCP beats constant export-import cycles with web tools.
Simpler than Fusion 360, but Windows-only alpha limits who can actually try it.
Xcode GPU frame debugging for WebGL/WebGPU—finally fills the native profiler gap.
Blender-free 3D editor for web—but competes with Spline, Blockbench, Needle already.
Runs autoresearch agents entirely in-browser using WebGPU and jax-js.
